Addressing the US market

Based on insights from the US market collected by Product Board & user research feedback it was apparent that the US market wanted more control for their housekeeping needs. Through thorough research we found that in order to properly penetrate the US market we needed to improve our housekeeping tool. We are now the only Front Desk Reservation System with a fully functioning housekeeping App that communicates to and from housekeepers to the Little Hotelier. We are currently in pilot phase but will soon progress to opening the App to all current and future customers. Within this project I worked with a team of 7 engineers, a PM and a PO to realise the entire project. Working on the interaction design, visual design, user research, user testing, working with the devs to get it built to an A grade standard & working with the PM & PO to work on deliverables.

The housekeeping UI that housekeepers see on their smartphones to communicate their progress to the front desk

This desktop UI is used for Little Hoteliers to monitor the progress of the housekeepers for early checkins and cover maintenance needs

When the Little Hotelier comes to the housekeeping feature for the first time they go through an on boarding wizard to setup and understand the housekeeping tool
