Bosch smart home
The German multinational engineering and electronics company Bosch has been developing in the field of the Internet of Things, with its Smart Home system being an important corner stone. With my team of engineers at Amplify Design alongside a product manager we developed a fully functional smart home system that worked on all iPhones, Android phones, iPads, Android tablets and the hardware devices. I was the sole designer on this project delivering a complete interaction and visual design spec as well as working alongside the development team to make sure that implementation was seamless. We were asked to implement the actual functionality and connect the UI to the API of the server, a piece of hardware called the Bosch Smart Home Controller. The final result is available on the App Store since early 2016.
